2002, Conover Place made a splash in Kansas City by opening doors to high end lofts -- one of the very few available for purchase vs. lease. Five years later there are more than 40 projects filled with condos and lofts one can buy and call home, but only a few are completely sold out.
Which loft projects were sell outs? W Lofts, Western Auto (even though the last handful were auctioned to close out the project), Conover Place, Popcorn Lofts and Anne's Lofts. What do all these sell outs have in common? There small projects (under 20 units each) except for the original Western Auto Bulding, which has 99 units.
Which projects are nearly sold out? Riverbend (3 left), 523 Grand and five remain at The Manhattan.
Which projects have more left than they'd care to admit? The Metropolitan has a whopping 25 left (sales slowed considerable when The Manhattan opened right next door), and Belleview Place with price points starting in the high $400Ks have only sold 7 out of 9.
