The Plaza has been around since 1927 and will be around another 80 years thus the reason real estate sales tend to be insulated from the bad times. But 2008 hasn't been good for real estate and even the Plaza has felt the pinch. That is except for the Churchill and Sulgrave condos. Churchill sold one condo a month during 2008 and the Sulgrave followed closely with 10 condo sales.
Next in line was the Hemingway with 6 sales in the last 12 months. It's such a one of a kind building, it will always be a front runner. Then not performing nearly as well were the Regency with 5 sale and the Carlton Plaza with just 4 sales in the past 12 months.
