February 2019 Greater Kansas City area residential housing market stats

Below you will find highlights from the greater Kansas City area February 2019 Kansas City Housing Market Report from the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and Heartland Multiple Listing Service. The February data include:

February 2019 average sales price for new & existing homes combined ($228,138) is 5.8 percent higher than February 2018.

There were 2,118 home sales (new & existing combined) for February 2019 - 7.1 percent lower than last February (2,279).

Home inventory (new & existing combined) for February 2019 (6,914) is 0.7 percent higher compared to February 2018 (6,869).

The supply of new and existing homes for February 2019 is 2.1 months representing a home market favoring sellers.
