Stephens said there will be 180 events in the next 12 months, including concerts, art showings, jazz on the street events, and more.

Now that Vivino and McFadden's have had there restaurant grand openings, Stephens said future retail and entertainment tenants will open individually throughout the next 3-6 months.

The tower at 13th and Walnut wil be the first residentail condo project. Pricing and timeframe are unknown, but a sales center should open in 2008 (projected completion is 13-24 months out).

On a brighter note, footings are in place for Costino's grocery store--a much awaited downtown convenience.

Finally, a 60,000 square foot urban garden is planned for the rooftop of the building where the Jones Store used to stand. Kansas City will have green, grub, and grog in the upcoming months in the P&L District.
