I have been saying this for a while now but if you have home improvements you wish to undertake before putting your home on the market start in the front yard. Buyers are going to view your home online, hop in the car to drive by your house and if they like the curb appeal they will contact their agent to schedule a private showing of your home. If you can't get them in the front door because your front yard lacks curb appeal and up-keep forget about the $30K you spent in the kitchen. The buyers will never come in your house to see your beautiful kitchen because they are turned off by the front yard. And be sure to share the following article with your neighbors on a Saturday morning! You and your neighbors need to help each other by keeping your yards in tip top shape as you reflect on each others investments.
